David is a proven healthcare change leader with 30+ years experience where he combines a unique blend of industry, strategy and private equity experience. He served as Senior Vice President of Aetna/CVS and President & CEO of its Medicaid Division where he increased revenues to over $14billion. David has also served as President of Medicare for Anthem’s largest region representing more than 65% of Anthem’s Medicare lives. A career built on impact, David led a turnaround as the CEO of UnitedHealthcare’s Florida Medicaid business and served as United’s Regional President over 8 of its 11 Medicaid health plans.
Previously, David was the CEO for WellCare’s largest health plans in Georgia & Florida and was also the founding CEO for Centene’s Peach State Health Plan in Georgia. David is also a Senior Partner for DaGrosa Capital Partners LC where he leads the healthcare vertical.
